Last week went by without an update because life was a little crazy. OK, i know it's been a while... So the girl scout thing was the last update. I got a check in the mail for an 'honorarium' (gov't OK'd compensation) that I was expected to be MAYBE $50... try $250!! So that made my day yesterday ( Read more... )

So yesterday I worked a girl scout camp as the 'earthquake lady'... i.e. their featured speaker. I spoke to 6 diff. groups ranging in age from 4-12. The largest group was 66 strong. that was the 4 & 5 year olds... Friday, saw Corey play baseball with a bunch of people from his camp, slept. Saturday, we went to Knott's Berry Farm with Daniel, Matt, Nick, and Ben. It was fun, but I had a headache the whole day because of the heat and the fact that the first ride we went on was unbelievably rocky. So I haven't updated since San Diego... The conference went great! All the teachers there really were interested in what we were talking about, and it was fun too!
