I honestly can't believe this used to be my favorite day of the year.

I have pink eye. It's fantastic. At least it's seasonal. But then again, what holiday doesn't pink eye go with? 
Halloween- it goes because it's scary looking.
Christmas- Pink is a variant of red, right?
Hm. Maybe it doesn't really go with Thanksgiving. So. Dodged

All those years I tried to tell you... Sorry about the eye, though! And I think it does go with thanksgiving because turkeys and pilgrims are notorious for infectious ailments (I tried, I just couldn't make it work).
