Okay, I'm confused. They set up the Fountain of Youth at the end of At World's End (writer's brain just woke up and gave a plausible answer to that, which will REALLY surprise me if Hollywood uses it). If it is a sequel and Barbossa went legit ooh, I like it. And historical precedent, though I don't think it ended well for the ones who tried it. Pirating was easier and saner compared to the British Navy at the time.
So we get a Spanish riff on Grace O'Malley and two new kids who won't be as expensive as Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly. I can deal with that as long as we don't get schizophrenic multiple Jacks.
May 20 - I better start sewing my new pirate corset and possibly doublet.
