it's not about actually seeing her do it. they were within each other's presence, therefore he can do it now. i can't quite remember, but i don't think he actually saw issac paint the future before pater started sketching the future on envelopes.

Thanks, that one came out of a chat - several of us (mostly people I met in the Superman fandom) watched the last episode while chatting on Yahoo IM. It was sooo fun.
