I just got my first PhD acceptance email! The University of Alberta wants me back! And while I don't yet know details of funding the department chair says I am ranked highly for several awards! Yippee! At least now I know I will be SOMEWHERE next year! I am going to the Sadies/Neko Case concert tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Starlight. Anyone

Thanks! I am not sure about my first choice. Top choices are Alberta, McMaster, and UBC. So very torn! I don't have any other offers yet. I have to wait and see. at least now I know I will be a PhD student somewhere. no more plans to be a full body massage therapist! or maybe...
