About This Island: it's hard to find the nitty gritty politics beneath the veneer, but it's also hard to resist the anthemic quality of the whole release. Don't you feel like Le Tigre finds their musical voice on This Island? With that kind of power might make them political on the Bono scale, but at least they're cuter and a little clearer on their political position.
