*sigh* I just love this. I'm bummed it took them so long to get together, but so glad it finally happened.

Really enjoyable, again.

Bittersweet, which seems sadly appropriate for Jeff and Annie. And Annie's line about being a "thirty six year old, divorced mother of three... instead of a perky twenty-two year old who follows you around like a little lost kitten" just brings home how much they could have had, but now never will.

Even with them finding each other again, I'd say that Jeff might never feel like Annie belongs to him (so to speak), when there's the constant proof that she's lived a whole life in the intervening years that didn't involve him at all. A life that he'll never really know.

I'd like to know what he's been up to in that time, though I suspect it was pretty much back to what he was doing before Greendale. Casual sex and unethical work.

This is absolutely beautiful. I've been sort of avoiding fan fiction for a while since every fic I try to read has been coming off as cardboard-cut-out-y or the characters are just wildly different. This is heartbreaking and gorgeous. To me, it's one of the best uses of fan fic format, because the idea of it being canon is unbearable, but the story can still be explored.
Can't wait for the last part.

As someone who deals with divorcing parents everyday (I cry myself to sleep some nights at being a lawyer) I can totally relate to this. I'm interested to see the last part and how they make the transition from starting out as a couple and if there are any more hiccups along the way for them. It's not going to be easy at all.

But overall I love this story. Kind of wish I'd thought of it :)
