Hats

What the hell is up with me and hats? I rarely wear hats, and never really paid much consideration to them. But I just finished knitting my wide-brimmed hat and Hobbit bought a newsboy. And he looks good in it. So my reaction? I'll knit myself a newsboy. I'm almost done with it, I've done the body and the brim, and just need to do the bottom back

as a side note, Andrew (new boy in the club) was knitting at a yarn shop and was asked by the two ladies who run it if he wouldn't mind helping them stock the new shipment of yarn, they'd give him some yarn in exchange... Well, he worked from 2-10pm stocking yarn, and they gave him about 1.5 garbage bags full of this yarn that they hadn't really been able to sell. He went home thinking they'd given him about $100 in yarn, he added it up, turns out it was over $600. Maybe he'll be willing to make a general donation to the rest of the club :D

I would like a wide brimmed hat or a news boy hat. if it's wide brimmed white and sky blue would be nice... otherwise whatever you think would look good!

I guess it all depends on whether I'm feeling girly... and at the moment I do. So maybe the wide brimmed hat.
