I'd already had a rough day. I was feeling anti-social but couldn't turn away our friends for game night since I'd done that already, several times. A dozen is several, right? Wait until the stalling (to go to bed) happens. Our son was hiding his monkey slippers (which I've affectionately call Eek and Ook) which are just the right size for him as mini-stuffed animals right before we gave him his bottle because he knew after the bottle was bedtime. With his vocabulary now he will cycle through every option (and thats a lot) that will prolong his bedtime. Some we don't mind (like asking for his teeth to brushed...again and again), but others...well, let's just say I'd hate to be wrong if he is genuinely asking to go poop before bed and his mother and I ignore it.

Trouble starts with T; just like Toddler. 😉
