so i called the parents and asked about how autumn is doing. then i asked when am i getting my cat back? i was very calm while talking... his dad said i can't have her back, they're too attached. i said, how can you be too attached when you only had her for a week? how do u think i felt when you took her. your not considering my or jarens feelings

Good girl. I'm proud of you. As a Mexican who has Asian in laws, they can be very hard to live up to. I have that problem with King's dad but whatever, they're not who I married. I hate when they swear that when you don't nod and say yes, you're being so evil, blah blah. Whatever. You get your kitty.

i used to be nice and give in to what they wanted and shit. at this point, fuck them. they're treating me like shit with no respect and i don't have to take it. i used to be a nice guy and let them walk all over me, but with everything thats happend, i don't give a fuck and i'm not scared to speak my mind. it's their loss. no relationship with jaren, our kids, being part of the family.

It also help tons that Jaren is on your side because it gives you the opportunity to be able to stand up to his parents. Jaren's a good guy. Later on, they'll respect you for standing up to them because I am sure they've wanted to do the same to their inlaws in their lifetime.
