So I finally get the bike out and ride to work, and sit down at my desk to discover that it's apparently "National Dump The Pump" day, sponsored by the KC ATA, encouraging people to take public transportation instead of driving.  The irony is that nearly every other work day this year I've taken the bus.

It just shows that you are staying ahead of the curve. While the hoi polloi are ditching cars to try buses, you are moving on to the next step: Even greener and good for your health!

Does this mean, then, that if you get a flat tire, you have to use one of those little things of compressed air, instead?
