so, my dad had surgery last week, and he got out of the hospital and was doing great, but then early this week he had to go back in the hospital. i'm really worried about him. he and my mom had a huge fight and he called this morning and said that he knew he had hurt her feelings because even though she said it was fine she won't talk to him and

My dad just got out of the hospital. He is a parapalegic(can't walk has wheelchair). Now he's a quadraplegic because now his arms don't work so well. When he first went to the hospital it was becuase his arm stopped working because of a spine crack and fluid build up, then they puntured a whole in his tubing around the bladder accidentally, then because of that he got sepsus(this is a really bad virus for parapalegics),then, he got pnemonia in both lung so bad that they had to put a trech in to breathe for him, then he was sedated and put to sleep almost like acoma and then his stomach shut down. They told us he might not make it. I was worried and sad, but for some reason i didn't care. i know that sounds weird because my dad and i were really close. After five months in the hospital and rehab he came home. We don't even really talk.He doesn't remember almost any of his hospital stay. My advice is not to mull over it and dwell on your worries occupy yourself, but don't totally bottle it up because thats just bad carma waiting to bite
