Well, the fact of the matter is.... We stunk.

The sad part is, the defense was better than the offense. Oh sure, the first drive was bad. Notre Dame marched it right down the field without having to have a single 3rd down conversion and punched it in the endzone, but after that the defense was pretty solid. Notre Dame's other touchdown actually came on a tipped pass where the defender tipped it and it went right into the hands of a receiver for the touchdown.

Chad Henne had his second bad game in a row. I mean, 19-44. What happened to the star we saw last year. I wanted him pulled in the 3rd quarter, but it didn't happen. He was so tentative and then the interception he threw at the 1-yard line was just pitiful, especially considering that his best receiver (avant) was wide open in the middle of the endzone.

So another year, another season where we can't make it to the Big Ten undefeated and we most certainly are out of the BCS hunt. Notre Dame played decently, but you can't make 4 trips to the red zone and come up with a total of 3 points.

I've always thought that Lloyd was doing a good job, but now I think I'm beginning to doubt him.
