In what will hopefully become a regular feature here, I've decided that I would take a picture, post it here and then describe it for you. So, I'm going to post the picture, comment on it if you like and when I get a chance later I will describe for you what is there. Hope you enjoy!

Hmmm, thanks mrgld. :-) I was on my drive home and looking for a picture to take when I finally got to this place. It's right out in front of our church about 1 mile from my house. It's hard to see because it's dark, but the whole field in front is covered in several inches of snow. In the foreground left is the lighted manager scene. The church has purchased the first part and hopes to add several more pieces, perhaps one a year. In the background you see the church sign and then the church with the red neon cross in the window. The brownish streak across in front of the manager scene and sign is the containment pond. In the background you can see the parking lot lights and a little of the neighborhood. This camera doesn't really do low-light shots very well, but it is handy and convenient.
