The Big Ten Network Vs. Comcast

For those of you who are unaware of what's been happening, this year the Big Ten created it's own sports network.  The idea in my mind was to get more visibility for Big Ten sports as well as to make some money.  No doubt there is money to be made, and if there weren't, maybe things wouldn't be as deadlocked as they are.

I'm sorry your games are being held hostage by evil corporate entities. Do they still have local games that you can physically travel to?

Interestingly enough, that's exactly what some of the advertising by Comcast has been. They claim that the Big Ten Network is holding the games hostage from the fans. Go figure!

Not to say the Big Ten Network is to be excused in this thing, but Comcast is the pot calling the kettle black there.

I'm a lucky one, I have season tickets to the home games, and have only missed one away game because of this. Others aren't so lucky.
