In 20 days, I will be back in Vancouver, BC.
Home.

I'm looking forward to doing / seeing/ eating a great number of things while I'm there (for 10 days! Hooray!)

But high on my list is a visit of UBC's Museum of Anthropology. Not only do I love all the artifacts and culture found there, I love the heart and guiding principles of the institution

Every time I turn on the TV and see the shit that's going on I feel thankful to be Canadian. We seem to be neither too proud, nor too paranoid, nor too fearful.

Having lived in the US for several years yourself, did you find that Americans in general tend to amplify difference, wherelse Canadians are more about celebrating diversity? That's what I've observed so far...
