I made a bad decision this morning. It looked like it was going to be a perfect day to ride to work. The temperature was in the 50's and it was cloudy. Brisk baby! Weather Underground showed one storm that was in western mass, that looked like it was going to miss us ( Read more... )

I was close to throwing Fashion Nugget on last night, but went with Rusted Root instead. The two playlists happen to be next to eachother.

I assume the open vents were on your jacket, not your backpack, yes? I have a feeling you handle the wetness far better than your laptop!

rusted root is also a fine choice. Listening to 'A' is for accident now.

Yes, the vents are on the jacket. I realized when I wrote it that it could have been either.

Dude, I am so there: This weekend, Em and I were hiking on a hot, muggy, but otherwise unthreatening day. Well, that's the lord decide to unleash her fury on us...Within 2 minutes, we were wet all the way through, like swimming pool wet. By the time we slipped and slid our way back to my car, my cell phone, which had been comfortably relaxing in the 'water resistant' pocket of my CamelToe, was shorting out.

I take it to the cingular store the next day, and they are like 'It's dead Jim', and that a new one is 250 bucks! damn! but the nice lady said that since it was under warranty, that if I could trick the nokia people into thinking it had just died rather than been flooded, I could get a new one for free. So, I have a replacement phone on the way, and am keeping my fingers crossed.
