I purchased the 20 gig standard sized iPod--it's smaller than my wallet. Those new nanos coming out are pretty cool, but they are a little more expensive and I'm afraid something that small would just end up getting put in the washer accidentally.

The Shuffle model is a pretty neat size just as long as you don't mind not having the screen or playlists.

My father has the Shuffle, uses it for bike rides. Seems to be pretty good functionality for that.

I'm not big on the nanos. I like the size of my Mini a lot more than those new tiny things that look like you could crush them with your fingers :O.

I cringe to see what's next--if I was trendy enough, maybe I could retaliate with a wittier comeback, but alas I'm still in the CD player era.
