I'm sitting here DXing the AM dial... seeing what stations I can pick up at nighttime from an unknown distance. So far, I know that I've picked up a station from Denver, a station from Ohio, a station from St. Louis. I've found those out using the call letters (after listening long enough) and making sure they match the frequency ... www.radio- ( Read more... )

I'm impressed that you know what "DXing" is. I learned it mostly in the context of ham radio, but I have some neat trinkets I've gotten from sending signal reports to WCCO in Minneapolis and WSB in Atlanta.

I don't recall how I came across it, but it was a topic of discussion on the Medialine forums last night... so I started playing with it again. It's actually kinda fun.
