halloween prep!

The kids have their costumes all ready. The Girl-Child is going as a gypsy (a scary gypsy, she tells me), and the Boy-Child will be a vampire. Both costumes we cobbled together mainly from thrift store purchases, and I think both kids will look great. T and I are going military this year. I still need some dog tags and maybe a different hat than

I have dogtags, but one set is from an Aerosmith concert and the other from Blue Man Group. Not really very military. :o)

I saw Blue Man Group in Vegas several years ago. It was a strange, strange show, but they had such cool percussionists wearing all black with neon streaks against an all-black background.

My taste in music is actually pretty wide ranging and eclectic. I loved the Aerosmith concert... I have a particular weakness for the rock star scream, and hearing Tyler do it in person was awesome. I felt like I personally experienced one of the classic elements in rock and roll

other than one cirque du soleil show i went to in vegas years ago (and as i recall, one of their traveling shows in minneapolis) the only 3 artists i've seen perform that you listed are u2, howard jones and thompson twins. several of them i would see, then or now, if given a chance, but i'm not a big spender when it comes to live entertainment.

Yes! T and I are going out Friday night (after the kids are back from trick-or-treating) and Saturday night.

My work is having a Halloween party during the day too. I want to dress up, though I will have to tweak my costume to make it a little more PG-13. :-)

I so love the trick-or-treaters. I love giving out candy to excited kids. It's like one evening during the year where we get to say to kids, "Sometimes the world is a great place to live."

Yeah, I've been following your build-a-house epic saga. I know the end result will be worth it, but it seems like a full-time job just keeping tabs on what needs to get done when. I wish you luck!
