Someone in a LJ community has an avatar that leaks the ending of Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows.  If it's right, you totally suck and fuck you.  And if it's not, it still sucks to get people worked up like that.

I didn't want to know until the book comes out, biyotch!

i dont want to know what the avatar says, im not sure if its the avatar i have seen lately, i try to avert my eyes as soon as i see anything remotely harry potter-ish. but i can think of at least 2, one which i cannot remember and the other which is burning a hole in my brain try ing to figure out what it *really* means. someone on my fl has been posting things that imply that people know the ending, and its pissing me off. im starting to think ill have to stop watching tv (news people like to give away endings), reading the internet (avatars, lj entries, message board thread titles), reading magazines (authors like to give away secrets in articles that are totally unrelated, i wasnt watching the sopranos this season because i wanted to wait til it was all over then watch, but i already know what happened thanks to some random article in people that had nothing to do with the sopranos). its going to be so hard to NOT find out what happens ahead of time. guess i have to shut out the outside world until i finish the book.

In the interest of complete disclosure, after one or two chapters, I will most certainly flip to the back and read to see how it ends. I can't help it!

I think I can refrain from flipping to the back. IF I get what I asked for for my b-day: Jon to go to Borders Saturday morning where I reserved a copy in my name, pay for it, then keep the kids out of my hair all weekend until I'm done with it (b-day is the 24th). I figure I know he's broke and it's a cheap present AND I would be very happy with that. However I think the munchkins will have other ideas.

I haven't seen the avatar you're referring to. I have my own theories of the ending of course about a lot of things (is snape good or bad? is dumbledore dead? will voldemort die? Will someone else/who?)

How do people know the ending? Seriously.

I reserved my copy at Borders and then realized that we are leaving for Nantucket that Saturday so either (1) I will go to the midnight release party and pick up my copy or (2) I'll hope to buy a copy on Nantucket.

Brian told me that someone leaked it online. As in, leaked the entire book online. It was removed within hours, but the rumors are rampant now.
