I hope you do get to enjoy those things with someone else beside you someday. In my almost 27 years on Earth this is only the 3rd Valentine's day I've shared with a someone. I've never made much of it. I completely forgot about it this morning. Not that it really matters - he's not in the same city so not much we could do about it anyhow. I made myself some dinner, watched a movie and now am about to update my resume. I'm a rock star when it comes to romance.

By the way congratulations on your decision (to not go into the military) -it's always nice to know or have some idea of what you do or do not want to do. I've been out of college 5 years now and am still trying to figure out what I want to do. This past year is the first year I've actually made use of my degree and now the dreams that I'm developing have very little to do with either math or spanish.

What sort of things do you enjoy? What makes you happy?

I look forward to chatting with you some more.
Hope tonight's not too dull.

I really don't know what makes me happy. I know its weird to say that, but what really is happy? Something that makes you smile? Something that temporarily lightens ur spirits? I would like to think that its something that gives you self satisfaction and something that makes you feel not exactly important. I mean it should make you feel important but I guess the correct word is worthwhile ( ... )
