You soothed my fussy baby and stroked the back of her neck and called her "shug shug" in a soft pleasant voice and I looked on in wonder and inadequacy, but much more wonder than inadequacy. And then I went on to become a fine stroker of fussy babies' necks. Thank you!

In my defense, I *think* you or Ben called her that first (Ben may have called her Monkey Toes or something?). Although now I find myself calling nearly every baby that. I hope I don't offend people! It's not that they *look* like moneys.

Er, yeah... I have something more to say about that, but I think it should be done "off-list" as it were. I will attempt to dig up a working email for you (I'm sure I have one) and email you after I do the hordes of laundry sulking in the corner of my room. :)

I have a lot of memories of you, some from before we were really friends. But something that sticks out in my mind from college was that you really liked Dove chocolate. :) And that made me like it too.
