Damn recap episodes.. I really should stick with the idea of recording them all, and watching them all on one day. Then at least it would seem like I progressed a little in the story line...
These "recap" episodes are really starting to annoy me. What, do they think those of us who watch the show FORGOT? Or do they think that some new person is going to hop in here and say, "Gee, I wish they'd recap the entire season/entire show for me so I understand THE LAST TWO EPISODES OF THE SEASON."
No. It's just so they can get more money for the DVD, claiming it is so many episodes, so they can charge more. I'm sure of it.
Also, there is the (regrettable) possibility that maybe they've just run out of ways to keep it up. We all know that they'll only be able to keep us all wondering what is going on for so long- recap shows allow them to extend that for at least another episode.
Here's a question- was there an episode where Jack got his stitches out? Everyone gets all the cuts, scrapes, doors falling on them, etc- but there doesn't seem to be a very long recovery time.
They've stated a few times that healing on the Island is faster than normal. Even recently Rose said to Locke about his leg, "We both know it won't take that long."
I would buy the idea that they don't know what they are doing next, so they are stalling, but they are doing it in a lot of shows. Like it's this corporate decision or something. Probably, huh?

Just a weird thought on a Friday morning.
