How worried should I be?

I pulled out the shelf of my computer desk this morning, on which the keyboard sits, and a screw fell out upon the floor. I can't determine where it came from. How worried should I be? There seems no obvious change i the stability of anything. I suppose that if the shelf was to fall to the floor, it wouldn't matter too much, as all that would

I'm always finding random screws in my house. Nothing seems to have collapsed yet. :)

Give the desk a good shake and if it doesn't wobble, I'd just put the screw aside.

It's when I get bits of odd machinery I can't place that I worry...
