Maybe when the usuals come into Neighborhood Shoe Repair they address the cobbler as their "sole brother." hehehehe =P

I'm glad you got your shoes repaired. If they're the ones I'm thinking of (that you wear all the time) then I think it was worth it getting them repaired. You know as "they" say, "A good shoe is worth its weight in papaya seeds"
Thankfully shoes aren't as slimy, but you can't spit them as good.

Yeah, it's that same never-seen, maybe-never-been kind of neighborhood economy. And we all love fresh bread, right?
