Hmmmm. Why do I not have a pirates icon? That must be remedied :D. Glad to hear you're enjoying Black Sails too! The ensemble really works, but I'll be keen to see how they develop the storyline when (if) they leave the island and return to the seas.
And thanks for the best wishes re: staying drying. It's bucketing it out there -- again. I was supposed to meet up with friends for dinner but we all "rain checked" as it's utterly miserable out there at the moment. It's been a horrible winter for all.
Yikes! I do hope you stay dry. I hadn't heard that the River Mole was likely to flood as well as the Thames. I remember it as a placid stream we used to visit for geography field trips!
Sorry to hear about your mother's arm but I hope it's better now. Good for your dad for pitching in so well.
boys in leather having a good time -- I can live with that.
So can I *g*. And I so agree about Aramis. I liked Santiago as Lancelot, but I love him as Aramis.
I gave up on Atlantis and Agents of Shield but I'm glad to hear they improved.
Although the River Mole seems like a placid little stream, it's surprisingly near my house and very high! And everything is so flat around here that if the waters escape their banks, it's amazing how far it would spread. On that note, today as I was checking on the state of the Thames, I learned that I'm considered to be in the danger zone for Thames flooding as well. Lovely. But, so far, so good. ::knocking on wood here::
Thanks for the words about my mother. She's a real trooper and was trying to do *too* much when I was home. I had to lecture her on more than one occasion ;). She finally caved and let me spoil her.
And yay for Santiago as Aramis. Like you, I liked him as Lancelot. A lot. But, in all reality, he was a guest star and just didn't get the time he should have. (And on that note, I'm so grateful for fanfic where we get to enjoy the Lancelot we should have seen!)
And now, off to watch some of the Winter Olympics. I have Men's Figure Skating to watch :D.
Hasn't the weather been crazy? I heard ya'll were getting lots of rain. Are we getting another season of WC? Please tell me this past season isn't it for the series.
The weather has been mad! Here, in North America, in Europe, in Australia. Everywhere. I'm almost afraid of what summer will bring.
As for White Collar, it hasn't been renewed yet, but the consensus is that there will be a final season. It's just a question of what form that final season will take. The network wants a mini-series. (Cheaper.) The producers of the show want a full season. And until they agree, everything is in limbo. Which is not good because the crew are moving onto new jobs and the actors are left hanging until a decision is made.
As for "The Musketeers", there's a brilliant new BBC series which tells the tales of The Three Musketeers. It's got a very pretty cast who look gorgeous in leather and ride horses and fight with swords and muskets. Win, win, win. If you're interested, drop me an email and I'll see what I can do about getting you access to some viewing pleasure ;).
Even now, it's bucketing the rain down with gales to boot. This has just been an incredibly difficult winter for so many of us throughout the world!
As for WC, great, wasn't it? It makes me very sad to think we may only have one final season -- and an abbreviated one at that.
And woot for Arrow!!! That show has surpassed my expectations so many times. And the good news -- based on ratings, it may be around for many seasons :D. One of the few CW shows I fully support!!
