I've been told I have an interesting dichotomy about me. That's sort of related to an alter ego.
Regardless, I think it is cool (or would be cool) to have an alter ego. Maybe that is why I enjoy Halloween so much. It is definitely not for the candy. I enjoy being someone else for a day (especially considering that person can be fictional).
You have a very cool other side to you. Forever and a day I had thought I had met and knew two seperate Gwen's from AgnesScott. It took me several encounters before I realized the two of you were one in the same. That's something very remarkable and talented, to be able to introduce yourself by the same name, origin, and generally as the same person, and still not have someone realize that the people are one in the same.
That is why it is one my twenty-seven goals for this year. The idea intriques me that much. Though I will probably be taking it slightly farther than you have (or maybe not. Who am I to say how far you have taken your alter ego?).
Being someone else, provides more freedom than one can expect. Because no matter what you do or say, you always have that saftey net of your real self to fall back on. And in theory nothing can be traced back to you.
You thought you knew two Gwen's? That's pretty interesting. Haha. Of course, if you met me with my black hair, and then without it, I can see that happening =)
A safety net is nice. And inside all of the differing versions of one's self, the same person is still there. Everyone is just seeing a different or exaggerated side of the person, instead of the complete person. I think it's cool. Have fun with your mission.

It's much less narrative than what I usually write. And spends more time describing my personality and ambitions during this year of my life.
