They're cool, but mainly cgi based on scans. Still cool though.

The BBC site clearly calls them "representations of" and makes it quite clear they're cgi.

Tchah. I was quite impressed (if a bit concerned that a TV programme isn't enough of an excuse to restrain an elephant and shove cameras up its jacksy). Interesting how the 16-week elephant looks just like a 9-day mouse.

Maybe I ought to post some of my thesis pictures? :)
