His vessel kisses the form of his dead girlfriend, a kiss so chaste, full of love and love that is lost and a twinge of hope.

He actually doesn’t mind, the remaining love in his vessel is what makes him so breakable so after Sam’s speech about hope, he softly points out that he freed him.

Sam can’t breathe, because no matter how he tries to deny, it Lucifer was not lying.

Sam was ordering French-fries when Lucifer found him, in a gut reaction he ran away forgetting his fries.

He’s cold and wet, but he doesn’t care, he knows he can’t run anymore.

After weeks of trying to pretend that he doesn’t exist, his vessel finally acknowledges him by offering him a half eaten chocolate bar.

He doesn’t expect Dean to answer, but he still calls him every month, turning off the telephone, slightly relieved since he doesn’t know what to say anyway then the eyes looking at him with pity makes him feel more pathetic than he actually is.

His growing attachment to his vessel is a shame, for such an imperfect being he attracts such powerful beings around him and it makes Lucifer wonder if he’s really the hunter or the prey.

Sam’s habitual curse and promise to never say yes wasn’t heard, instead he thought of how much he liked the feeling of wind against him.

Sam should have known that Lucifer will return accompanied with a cliché Lightning and Thunder, though he wished that the lightning struck him because, Lucifer also brought with him the realization he’s the closest thing to friend that Sam has now.
