Saying good-bye to the place where we buy drugs

For a very long time we've been going to a pharmacy in Kirkland to get all of our local prescriptions. Yes, there were other pharmacies that were closer to us, but this was an independent, compounding pharmacy that delivered quick service (you could get in and out in under 5 minutes if it wasn't busy), the staff was super nice and they genuinely ( Read more... )

I started crying here .... Things like this affect us greatly. It is definitely an emotional event. My sister uses a family owned pharmacy here in Pflugerville. They've been with her through two divorces and all of my nephew's complicated medical history.

I would be bawling saying goodbye to my regulars if my shop had to shut down. Medications are a lot more personal than customer/store implies. I'm sorry the place that took such good care of you is gone now.
