I've not been able to break into theatre in the Twin Cities in the 5.5 years I've lived here, have done no stage work since 2009 in Seattle. The reasons are varied, but the jobs I had outside of theatre to pay the bills were so time consuming that I couldn't handle a rehearsal schedule. As someone new to the Twin Cities, roles for which I auditioned went to better known actors. I've told myself I need to prepare better and am I'm determined to break through in 2015. I hope you rediscover your motivation, as you're a talented performer.
