Yeah, so Virgin America rocks. I'm posting this from 33,055 feet. $10 for the privilege, but still.

Of course there are still a few bumps. Right after explaining to us that we couldn't have any devices transmit or receive signals on the plane, the attendant encouraged us to use their new wi-fi service. But hey, it looks like it works well.

I remember almost getting booted off a plane when I tried to explain that my brand new just hit the market Palm Pilot does not "technically" have an off button.

ditto, love 'em. took r/t to JFK over the holidays. Shortest flight ever, due to all the distractions - music, movies, tv, games, menus. Never did use the web or chat service.

ONLY complaint is the touchscreen part. Flight attendant sitting behind me punched her screen while she played one of the word puzzle games. Politely asked her to use the handheld remote control.
