You might want to contact the CUTT folk; they probably have tt sessions as well.

And I hear you re: jobs. I actually found myself at the Job Centre saying apologetically, "Apart from the PhD, I don't actually have any qualifications."

Talk: yes.
Treadwells talk: interesting.
Regular gaming club: go for it!
Possibility of going to Inner Sanctum: also interesting, particularly if we can co-ordinate.

I never thought I'd get into miniatures gaming (as I'm sure you'll recall) but I have gone FULL CRAZY WHOLE HOG into Malifaux with kind of a psychotically scary obsession.

(Megan got me into it and now I am hooked.)

What Masters do you have?

I haven't read the rules, so I'm not exactly sure what a Master is, although I assume it's sort of like a warcaster in Warmachine. In which case I think the only one I have is the old lady with the voodoo dolls (Zoraida?) -- I got the box with her, her swamp monster, and some fishmen for my birthday, as well as the big evil teddy bear.

I don't know Warmachine at all. Malifaux is the only wargaming miniatures game I've ever played or even watched much.

Masters are kind of the central figure of each Crew. They're usually the most powerful figures on the board, but also they sort of determine what other figures you can hire and what the overall play for a Crew is going to be like.

Zoraida is super fun, yeah! She's fascinating and powerful and a creepy swamp witch. And she has the most flexible hiring abilities - she can hire any Neverborn and work well with them, and she can also hire anyone else who is low-willpower from any faction.
