I hate to sound like a bad guy, but maybe it's time you did what was good for you. or at least voice what you would like out of the situation, otherwise you just succumb and wait for your heart to get broken. which it will if you play it passive. meh. i know its terribly confusing.

ehh jo jo im stumped all i can say is that i agree with brian in that an open relationship keeps people from getting their feelings hurt to a minimum.. i mean hes a guy thats gonna be a freshman in college.. no one needs a relation ship as a freshman in college..you need to have fun and meet new people and not have to worry about " will this hurt jo ellens feelings" or the other way around..."will this hurt brians feelings" so all in all..my advice..go with the flow...and if you think he is the one then things will work out in the end
