School has started, we had an awesome dinner party the other night, and gas is expensive. That's all there is to report on right now. Yeah--I just keep thinking this is a "teaching moment," i.e. this is what structural and institutionalized racism looks like, this is how it works, this is what it can do. I think it's also a moment to learn about anger and empathy. I can't get over it.

I also can't get over how AMAZING all the food was on Monday. Best. Let's work out a time to do it again, Somerville style.
