I just suck at instant messaging. I generally don't respond to messages left to my away message b/c usually the people have forgotten what they said and then my response just seems stupid. I also don't generally initiate an im conversation, I always feel like I'm bothering the person by forcing them to talk to me.

i wouldn't go that far, but on further consideration it is better than rose and sophia. felix and oscar i can almost deal with because they seem somehow unplaceably catlike, and also cause i used to watch the odd couple. that's not to say i didn't also watch golden girls but naming kittens after old ladies is just sick.
