like eating miso soup and reading, in turn, the story of puxatawny [i didn't bother looking that up] phil on groundhog day, the birthday present hunt is a tradition. in my family, the birthday presents are all hidden. then you get a card with the clues written in it, and you have to use those clues to locate your presents. or sometimes your little sister will just impatiently blurt out where they are all.
