Classes continue to be excellent. Tomorrow I start labs in the costume shop, which is pretty exciting since we'll mainly be working on Nightingale costumes, and I'm excited to see how everything will take shape. Later on I'll do scene shop stuff, which should also be neat because the set design is kick. Ass.Papa and Gene are coming into town this ( Read more... )

Ooooh. Thanks.

I'm not totally vegetable-deficient, but I do need to do better, so this is v. helpful. And I'd definitely love to hear more, if you're in share mode. :DD

It's the season for big squashes, so you can easily pick up one of those at the store. The best way to cook them is to slice them in half, scoop out the seeds (which are roastable if you feel like it), put them skin-side down in a casserole dish or baking pan in an inch of water to keep them from drying out. Then just bake them until you can easily stick a fork through them. Add butter and spices, or just eat them straight--skins and all.

Beets also are great to just stick in the oven--cook 'em like potatoes, just stick 'em in the oven for half an hour, until they can be forked easily, and then butter and spices, or just eat them straight.

Make fries! Get potatoes, any kind you like, even yams or other root vegetables like beets, chop, and saute them slowly in a little bit of olive oil until they're lightly browned on each side. Fresh home-made fries are delicious.

So that's what happened to you. I miss you too! :O Maybe you should try PIRCH or summat?

I tried PIRCH! It also didn't work. I think maybe my wireless connection is just so slow and shitty IRC goes ". . . dude. I'm not even going to try." and refuses to connect. D:

OH MY GOD YOUR ICON. I about died while watching that. That line almost made me fall off the couch.

I miss you, woman. Have you tried re-downloading mIRC? That worked for me before.

XD I love it so much. Tina Fey is amazing.

I tried! It didn't work. :( I also tried using PIRCH instead, which . . . also didn't work.

I made my dad come in and watch it, and he was like "... is that really her?" I hadn't even realized how similar they look.

Maybe you're somehow connecting to Maple instead of AbleNet? That happened to me too.
