What is Travian?
It's a free, web-based real time strategy game, loosely based off The Settlers of Catan. Along with gaining production from each resource, clay, ore, wood, grain, you construct a village, raise an army, raid your neighbors, and conduct diplomacy.
The long-term game takes a couple of hours a day, and the server I play on has just restarted, so now is a great time to start.

I play in the southwest. The alliance I'm associated with is the WVF, which was a top 20 alliance in the last game, after starting several months late.
