I think the chinese version is a lovely romantic way of saying what the west is only NOW slowly discovering through science.

a lot of ppl look down on the amazing discoveries of the chinese quite forgetting that all these were written more than two thousand years ago (although credited to to Huang Di and Qi bo circa 2596 BC) so of course the language would be romantic and not scientific.

i thought both are the same.

coz i tot, for western, the body temperature is raised by the brain coz it decreases the bad bacteria/virus activity and increase the body's own activity. its not a malfunction, i think.
