Did you not have insurance or just no proof of insurance. If it was the latter, you can probably get it dismissed. I did that once.

no insurance. *braces for the criticism*. I'm guessing the big ass $500 ticket is in the mail since I didn't get it that night or when I picked up the accident report. I'm saving up already.
