so it turns out i have microscopic colitis, which is usually seen in middle age but my dad had it in his 20s and he's perfectly healthy. i'm taking some antibiotics and am cutting out a few different things, one of the biggest being lactose.

i hope when this clears up i can eat normally again because i hate being someone who buys soy cheese.

i like soy cheese. i also enjoy soy milk. but i eat it for the soy protien - because of the lack of meat and beans i eat - instead of as a substitue for dairy.

Cheese made from beans. I am still in disbelief that beans can "curdle."

hmm...soy cheese...something even I haven't tried yet. And I drink lactose free milk...that tastes good by the way...like milk...cuz it is milk.

Sucks though. I am lactose intolerant and I know that can be pretty difficult to get used to. Feel better!

i know i know :) it's really not that bad, i found some good-tasting brand called galaxy from publix (got the name from hungrygirl.com)... i had some shredded on mom-esque taco salad that caleb made for me yesterday. it'll be fine; i just hate going to the grocery store as it is, and it was just tough having to think about what i could and couldn't have.
