I had a really great time this weekend; Caleb took me to Apalachicola, and we stayed at this motel where Lee works. He gave us this room that had a jacuzzi in it. The bottom glowed blue if you flipped a switch, which was in the bathroom. There was also a dimmer switch... it was ridiculously awesome

Your time in Appalachicola sounds amazing! I'm jealous, but I totally understand the need for little vacations like that. I slept most of the weekend which made me happy.

I hope your dad is okay. I'll keep him in my thoughts. Give a little thought to my mom too. She's out of work as well.

It's so awesome you're publishing articles! Do you have any inspirations to be a college professor? You'd be amazing at it I think! I'd love to publish something, but honestly I haven't been to a conference or anything. I just end up loosing interest in a subject I choose or not wanting to finish it. I have trouble concentrating on them. How do you do it man? Any tricks?

maybe not so much a college professor... my tentative dream job is to wall myself up in a cushy job of Writing Center Director at some little place that hardly cares whether or not it in fact has a writing center, haha. I'm just not sure about teaching, I like the research part though
