I think that it is always hard to figure out what you believe about religion.

Would you pray for a little boy named David who is in critical condition??? I have been asking people to pray for him for a pretty good portion of today. He is less than a year old & his parents have already lost one child. He has come so far & fought so hard since he was born.

His mother keeps a blog here:

Thank you. I think that figuring out what you believe is an ongoing process for everyone...some people acknowledge it...some ignore it.

Didn't know there was anything going on this weekend... I think this post is very interesting...it relates to a lot of questions I have been asking myself over the years... I've come to the conclusion these days that no one adheres to their beliefs 100%...so people should stop carrying that religious chip on their shoulder all the time... Anyway, I'm in town this week if you want to get dinner one night or something...

If you look up the big names in the Bible -- Moses, Aaron, Noah, Solomon, David, Samson, Peter, etc. -- they were all given great things by God, but they ALL managed to screw up. Some denominations believe that because of Adam and Eve's sin, we're all born sinful (original sin). The Bible tells us in several places that we're all sinful, nobody is righteous, etc. Nobody is perfect, and nobody is going to be. What you've got to think about is: how much do we (all Christians) take our sins to heart. Are we sorry and repentent; or, do we brush them aside, never ask God's forgiveness, and continue to commit them without a second thought. Conviction -- that feeling we get when we're doing wrong -- is not a feeling that comes from us, it comes from the Holy Spirit working in our lives through an indwelling that happens when you ask Christ to be your savior (and, no, I'm not talking about some freaky Pentecostal Holy Spirit thing). What you've got to watch out for, is when you CEASE to feel that convicting power in your soul, then ( ... )

These are great questions... If you ask them, it only means you are growing. You need to be very careful with how you answer them or accept ansers to them, but you already know that-- just a reminder ( ... )
