I think it extends to both sexes and all races. I'm sure you've heard the old saying "Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're a fool than to open it and prove that you're a fool" (or some variation on that). It seems that there are certain people who just annoy the general public because they're always in the limelight, always running their mouth. Hillary, Oprah, Jesse Jackson, Jerry Falwell, Newt Gingrich, Al Sharpton -- they come from all sides

I like Oprah. I watch her show whenever Im at home and it is on (haha). It all comes down to ignorance and apathy. People just don't care about politics and choose to believe what they hear on CNN of Fox news. I plan on voting for Lucy Baxley. I've heard her speak before and I think she would be a strong political leader. But then again I havent heard anything on another canidate. I might change my mind if the other person has better creds. People have told me that I have too many goals in life and that I want to do too much, but I want to be in a political office one day. Someone needs to get people to not be so apathetic about politics.
