That's what real love amounts to- letting a person be what he really is. Most people love you for who you pretend to be. To keep their love, you keep pretending- performing. of course the question then becomes whether or not people really live these alleged pretenses or these supposed pretenses are just unliked realites by those who perceive them to be pretenses.

fortunately or unfortunately, the final word on whether someone is who they really are or what they are allegedly pretending to be is up to that person to decide...because no matter how well you no someone, no one will ever know them they way they know them.
