I started rewatching last season yesterday because the first time my heart was half in it since I marathoned the entire series and was really distraught over Ten. But this time I did enjoy last season much more and going into tonight, I'm really digging the new look of everything. For real go back and watch something from s1 and tonight's episode...HUGE production value difference. I think that was part of the reason I was standoffish; everything is so shiny and fancy and before it, idk, almost had more charm. But Matt Smith has won me over and he is adorable and a fantastic Doctor. I'm just bummed it took me rewatching to fully embrace him. That said, I watched that Sarah Jane special and my heart ached when I saw Ten, which was unexpected. <3
