Yeah, that is pretty dumb. They should just have a co-ed league, or she should just join the girl team, if there is one. If there isn't one, then I understand her joining the boy one, but..

she should just play in her own league, or play the boys in a pickup game. she shouldn't be holding the title.

Well considering how she practically SHUT OUT her opponent in the championship game, I say she deserves it. So what, she's a girl! However, she's a girl the kicked a lot of guy butt.

Why is it that you would support a female gamer, but not a female althete capable of competing with men? Aren't they one in the same, but on different planes?

Nope, not really.

Gaming, everyone is about on par.
Females and males are both equally equiped to play Halo, or TimeSplitters.

But atheletics, it does make a difference.
