Trip Photos Part Three of Three

Jul 29, 2007 20:37

Last one, I swear. I know I said I'd do this days ago, but I'm lazy. So I've got about eleven pictures left and I finally managed to get a video together of the trip. It's choppy, dizzying, ADD, and random in places, but if you're interested, it's under the cut. Nothing fancy with the editing, since cutting out unessential shit and getting ( Read more... )

"the decorator was color blind. or colour blind." HEE.

oh my god! the crepe cart by the statue of Boadiccea (whyyy are there so many ways of spelling her name? I never remember if I got it right. silly English language!) and Big Ben! I remember that place! HEE.

And Bath! *geeks out over the roman baths some more*

"are you taking video?" "no!" (seriously, HOW OFTEN does that get recorded on your videos? HEE.)

oh my god, no kidding about the tour bus dude's accent. dude. wtf. (and, ohh, Dame St and Trinity and the river, *flails some more*)

Ooh, Malahide is really pretty. And so's Kilkenny, although that looks freakishly landscaped with the lawns...

that was so fun, dude. thank you for sharing!

(Iiiii so want to get you into other fannish pursuits as well so you can make me vids. Mmm. Vids. *is selfish!* :D)

Crepes? I thought it was an ice cream cart...

Have you been to Bath?

(Uhm, kind of a lot.)

Yeah, I was hoping for someone with more Ireland experience to help me out there.

They had MASSIVE grounds, especially Kilkenny. Btw, I didn't mention it in the post, 'cause I thought like ONE person might be interested (*cough*you*cough*), but Kilkenny was the home to Strongbow! I was a giant nerd and thought that was soooo interesting.

Welcome! I'm glad SOMEONE was interested. hee

(Psh. That's way too much effort for me. Vids are haaaaaard.)

Oh your pics AND video are just all kinds of awesome. And now I must find a nut that resembles a butt so that I can pair it with penis rock at our next gathering.

Thank you very much! I'm thinking it was from the Amazon, so good luck! Hahaha. I can just IMAGINE the kind of pictures/video that would ensue from that.

i think the view from every b&b in galway must look the same? and i swear julie took pics of me on those same damn rocks. except i don't think we made to salthill. but it looks the same anyway. must dig out pics.

large things from the amazon = comedy gold. BUTT NUT. MADE OF PERFECTION.

love the video. you're hilarious. malahide made me die inside. i didn't even realise how much i'd missed those grounds.

Hee. It's possible. You should dig out pics! Salthill is apparently quite the tourist area, though we went when nobody else was stupid enough to go, so I can't really back that up. Hee.

Totally! Amazon = funny. I wish I HAD a butt nut.

Even with the sound off? Haha. Awww. You'll be going back, though, I'm sure.

This is true... I want to see all of them! How have I never seen them before? But scan as well, by all means.

I think Susan would appreciate it. Hee.

Ahhhh.

I do know. I'm always instantly nostalgic.

This is the River Corrib, the river that runs through Galway.

I love the dark gray water and dark gray bridge. Neat.

Those lilypads were HUGE. My answer as to why is essentially: They are from the Amazon.

They look very disneyesque. HOW CAN THOSE BE REAL?

This is the understated palace the queen stays in when she visits the gardens. Nice, huh?

Gorgeous.

Yeah, the one day I didn't have my camera at the ready, it was blue skies and such. The rest of the time it was all grey like that. Still beautiful, though.

They are! I was shocked. Also, I have a picture I took in that building with you in mind. It was a tiny little chili plant! It was so cute. Each chili was no longer than the top digit of your pinkie finger. SO CUTE.
